Neuschwanstein
After an early, long bus ride we visited the castle "Neuschwanstein" of King Ludwig II. and walked through the beautiful setting. There was just enough time for a quick snack and souvenirs before we headed back to the city square in Deggendorf to watch the soccer match between Germany and the US.

sledding and glass blowing
We started the day in St Englmar at the 'Waldwipfelweg' (tree top path) and then drove to the 'Rodelbahn' (summer sledding). One team went faster than 40 km/h. Afterwards we drove to Arnbruck where the 'Weinfurther' (a glass blowing company) is located. We watched a glass blowing demonstration and then had lunch, walked through the park, and went shopping.

Landesgartenshow
Today we first went to school and were welcomed by the principal and then left for the Landesgardenschau (gardenshow not only with plants, but also art with the theme "Danube") which is located here this year. It is in a different location every 2 years and we were lucky that this year it was here. Unfortunately, my camera went out soon after entering.
